I'm still a little miffed that I didn't take full series of everybody's vehicle, multi-angle, and interior, engine, and stereo shots, etc...

Sorry guys! There was some nice equipment in several of these cars!

My system is really mostly old stuff, combined with some economical "new" components, ringing in around $600 and change! :o I think I ended up with good sound despite my low cost approach. (Okay, I had some really old amps laying around!)

For those who asked about details, my audio build went like this... (and it's still on-going... )

If you other Solaraguys that were there have shots of your system/interior/engine/audio, etc... that would add to our story, feel free to post them in this thread!

Or is it a herd of Solaras?

Flock of Solaras?

Gaggle of Solaras?

Pride of Solaras?

None the less, nice pics. Thanks for sharing, Crisp.

I'd vote for a "Slew".

Tact, of course. Any of the group are welcome to pull photos and repost.

I am SOOO ready to do it again, with MORE cars, and a better "action plan" for the photo story next time, as well!

^ Our hunger overthrew our photo plans  We will defiantly have to do something again this summer. I had a lot of fun meeting you guys. Im hoping this will be the first meet of many more to come with more and more people coming each time.

My friends from Cincy that met up with us at QSL loved Tact's car.

Go-karts was a blast I defiantly tied the record with my friend Joe for the most spin outs as I was too aggressive and insisted on not using the brakes on what was a very slick track! Im sure crisp would have taken the lead if he could have stayed since I found out he is the craziest driver of us all!

I didn't even bother to take pics because my camera sucks bad and I didn't take picks at HIN because it was too dark.

HIN was disappointing yet fun. It was disappointing just because I thought it was going to be a much larger show. But it was fun because I got to see some of my car buddies I haven't seen in a long time both from Toledo and Cincy! I think I talked to people more than I looked at cars. The Accelerated Performance Supra was very impressive. Kevin got some pics of the show before his camera batteries died and I get the rest of them up from my friend who snapped a few shots in a few days.

Afterwards we closed up the bars at the arena district directly across from the show. Mike was getting all the ladies attention when he was hittin switches! Good times! :chug:

I was keeping a watchful eye out! I was making sure that the guy parking his ragity old Lebaren convertible next to my car wasn't going to bang my door Cause then I would have had to ... :arg:

It would be REALLY cool if we could somehow get a nationwide SolaraGuy meet. Get as many members and Solaras in one location for a weekend. That would be awesome. There are a lot of people on this forum I think I would truly enjoy meeting.

As cool as it sounds, I just don't see how its possible.

Thanks all for coming and had a great time. Thanks Chris (crispone) for taking pics and posting them bro.

Thanks Chris (solorange) for putting the meet together.

Glad I had the opportunity to meetup with a few more SG members...Alex, Ken, Kevin and Bob (Black Bob)...also Chris' (solorange) friends.

See you guys in Elmhurst...

Sorry Crisp and others,
I already knew I wasn't going to make it by 1pm to Easton but I didn't plan on arriving there THAT late, so I apologize. I'm getting old, I don't bounce back from a hard night (4am) of drinking like I used to.

I missed you guys twice. I came late around 3pm and wound up in the wrong Easton parking garage where, of course, I didn't see anybody. I then toured the mall a little bit. I passed a lady snapping pictures which caused me to whip out my camera phone. I got one shot off before mall security rolled up in a SmartCar and told me I "can't take pictures of structures"! (WTF) "Sorry, I didn't know Easton was at Level RED", I replied and he said I could lose the attitude. I didn't and was 'asked' to leave. Kinda pissed me off but then I went back on my search for the Solaraguys and went by Mongolian BBQ where I didn't see anybody. The second time I just missed half of you guys was at Quaker Steak. I sat at the bar eating 'Thai-R Cracker' wings trying to lose my hangover while you guys were about 50 feet across the room. Like an idiot I didn't bother to look at the other side of the restaurant. It wasn't until I finished up and was driving out that Micheal and I rolled up on each other in the driveway. I went go-karting with the rest of the guys which was awesome because the adrenaline vanquished my hangover more than the greasy chicken wings. So anyways, sorry I missed half you guys and promise I'll try not to be on CP time next time.

FYI: I have a best friend who owns a Days Inn hotel near Cleveland downtown and I already asked him if it was possible to cordone off his back parking lot and BBQ, drink, do clutch drops, etc. in case the urge arises to have a meet(s) sometime in Cleveland. If it rains, I can get the private area by the bar to chill also. I could maybe also talk to him about group hotel rates for anybody who doesn't feel like leaving "Foreclosure City" right away. I would handle attaining facilities and space but your gas, drinks and hookers would be on you guys.
