With a car like this, I would definately recommend going for the VIP look. Don't try to make it look fast - focus on making it look good (slammed, different rims, tint etc...).

Hmm, perhaps you should invest in the Ground Control coilover sleeves Gibson has for sale? Instant dumpage...

Does someone make coilovers for the Avalon?

I'll just repeat what everyone else said to get the point across, haha.

1. The wheels doesn't look good on your white car. Maybe a black car or a red car, but not your white car. Sell them off and get something else.

2. Tint your windows.

3. Lower that beast! It would look nice slammed.

Good luck!

haha, yes, i agree with EVERYONE, the red is bad. I know. I got the rims + tires for a realllly good price so i figured I'd deal with it. I'm looking to paint the rims lip, I'm thinking either black, maybe chrome, or something else. I kinda needed new rims anyway because my oem rim got bent really bad to where no air was being held in and 2 others were slightly bent also. It'll be dropped around summer time. I'm on too low of a budget to go "VIP" so everything is being done "on a budget" (lip - 10 bucks) I'm getting an exhaust soon too. Thanks for all your input guys! It's making me think what else to do. I want to tint but other things are coming first (repaint rims, drop, exhaust)

Seriously don't invest any more in those rims. A suggestion that may be a better alternative that may help you out since you already have the tires. Just find some other rims that can be wrapped in those same tires. Nice to see an Avalon with a few things though!

Good to see you got the dents taken care of. Dunno if those wheels can look good on that car. They just might look ok with a different lip color but they definitely seem a bit too small for the Av imo. I found a pic of somewhat what I'd aim for if I owned an Av. (I'd clean up on its eyelids for sure though.) It'll be interesting and cool to see yours develop.

Well, It's only going to cost 50 bucks to repaint them.. It'll be all black. I think they may be just the right size once the car is lowered. (they are 18's)
YES I KNOW THE RED LIP IS HIDEOUS. lol what color do you guys think i should go for? So far all I can think of is ALL black.. The lip in the first pic was also only held up by 4 zip ties.. I put it up temporarily then cause I was short on time and was going to figure something better out, but then I broke my arm and by the time it was better it was winter.

Yet again here are the plans:
Paint rim lip black
De-badge Toyota and Avalon XLS and paint the center emblem black
Get the exhaust
Drop it

(how much are coilovers or "coilover sleeves" <- idk how those work..

The guy doesnt even listen to rock!....
