effective +35 in the rear with the 5mm spacer I was running ;)

But yeah, I was 18x8.5 +40 front +35 rear with 225/40/18s. Looking back now with what I know about wheel fitment, I would have liked to have pushed it a little further and gotten a bit more aggressive, but I think it looked pretty good.

So these arent alex's wheels from TN? Same sizing and everything I believe. Nice pick up, I loved those wheels... if they had way lower offsets and were wider, I would have kept them for my s13. Get em mounted and post some pics!

^^ how far out you think we can go with the solara...

I dont think my setup is aggressive enough... When funds come thru i want to either up the Size to 9, roll and pull the fender or at least drop the offset to twenties.

Im all about aggressive offset, offset whore, aggressive fitment and trying to think of a more aggressive fitment for the solara. Haha.

Well, from looking at this pic, you can see it could come out another 5mm pretty easily.

That would leave you at +30. I wouldnt go more than +35 in the front, +40 seemed pretty close to flush. With camber though, you could bring the front to 35. A 9" wide wheel would probably be pretty sick...

Really? Its not rubbing at all there a tiny gap between the tire and the fender.

^^ true.. but if u did shave 'em- u can gain at least another 10mm. of width in the rear on each side.. this will make the car look more agressive and the wheels to be more flush.- looks haul ass!
