...any hit in the rear is always the person following's fault and there are people that abuse that fact....the guy you smashed into was probably keeping an eye on you in his rear view and decided to stop to collecta nice amount of insurance cash knowing that nothing would happen to his SUV.
Hope your headaches and stuff go away.
You should take the guy to small claims court for damages to your car and personal injuries along with any medical bills you might have accumulated in the process.
Good luck with what you decide to do with your car since you have open options to upgrade parts and do a front end conversion.

Yeah first i'm goin to get my car back to new.
Maybe get a carbon fiber hood while in the process.
And also at my school, i'm goin to put up and ad-like thingy to see if the person that was goin north remembers anything, so i prove to the po-pos' and the insurance that it wasn't my fault.
I don't think that guy in front of me is goin to collect any money.
But he goin to pay for my car later.

Get a hold of the witnessess that saw the accident and have your lawyer or insurance company contact them for a report of what they had saw b/c I remember you said people saw what happened and said that he did just stop. If you have a police report, the witnesses should be listed on there with a way to contact them if the cop took down there statements.

Good luck with your building case.

Thanks man,
Today when i get home i'm goin to make a sheet wit the picture of my car, and the other car.
And try to see if that person at my school remembers anything about that day.
Cause i just talked to my uncle and he told me he rear-ended someone and took them to court and his insurance company won the case, and sent my uncle a nice check to his house.
So i'm not goin to lose this battle wit the shiette preppy boy that thinks he all that since he in an SUV.

If there was a police report filed, check the witnesses on the paper and call them up and speak to them and get there accounts on paper if there willing to take part in your case.

I'd also check with the school security since you said it happened on campus........perhaps there was a security camera that caught the whole accident on tape.

Well no witness actually stopped to help.
So i got to go find them here on campus. :-?
Also on campus there is no cameras i think.
Only at major intersections that po-pos like to keep an eye out on.
So i got to find them unforunately; and hopefully they step up to help me.

That sux, campus security should get cameras for that main reason and speeding, thats what they did on my campus since there is a 2 1/2 mile straight away to enter and leave campus.

Good luck finding the people the people that witnessed it and I hope everything works out for ya.

I'd say if you know some people that know some people.....you didn't hear it from me but in some cases.....have some buddies be the witnesses (yes I know this is breaking the rules but do what you gotta do) do your ordeal and have them testify in court if they are willing.

Yeah i was thinkin' about doin that, but still debatin' about it.
Also it the same like my school the entrance is a striaght street where you can haul a$$ on it, and the campus only has cameras in certain areas.

I'm out of suggestions for ya bro and I can only wish you the best at what you decide. Just look at it this way......you made it out of it in one piece even though it was a slow impact accident.

Keep us updated on what happens.

Yeah right now the body shop we sent to my car too, is askin' for $1,200 more, cause the guy we know in Texas, cheaped us out on fixin' the Solara right.
So the body shop guy we know has to frame square the front end, and cut out some stuff, and weld new stuff.
But he can't get me a carbon fiber hood :(
And so he goin to find me a black stock grille; and if he can't he goin to get a stock one, and paint if black how i had it before the wreck.
Yeap, still havin' slight headaches, unforuntaley.
Also he havin an airbag specialist comin' to fix my airbags for some reason.

Hmmmmm, it sounds to me like this guy is trying to squeeze more money out of you and your folks.

The grill doesn't come in all black only comes one way which is stock chrome looking with the black vents.

The best advice that I could give you right now is to speak to your lawyer and insurance company......have them cut you the check for the most you can get out of them and do a little hands on work.

I've seen the radiator support on ebay........
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... ename=WDVW

....plus a lot of front end parts that can be of use to you......I definately feel that is the best way for you to go at the moment b/c you will save a lot of the cash for other parts.

....the carbon fiber hood you can get on this website, theres a few guys having a group buy on it and there are also a few distributors on here as well that have them for a good price.

....the only thing you will have to worry more or less about is the price of labor and times spent on getting the parts and rebuilding the front. :-?

If I lived closer to you I'd sell you my entire front end b/c I like the way the 1.5 gen. looks but I'm kinda far (N.Y.).

This is just my suggestion to you if you have the time & patience. At the prices given to you I would suggest finding another shop that will do it for you that you can trust and supply you with a warranty on the repairs that will be done.

Good Luck.

Actually the guy who we dropped off my car, does a really good job.
He knows it only come in chrome outlinein'.
He believes that when you repair a car, you do it right the first time to save the trouble.
It my parents friends fault that the left side radiator front top mount is so f***ked up cause he didn't fix it right.
But the insurance is payin' for most of it.
About $6K for the damage.
