:o wow, I didnt expect it to be that much. But then again its a whole new bumber , lights who knows whats wrong inside, cuz something keeps falling out everyday.

I just finished cutting out the fender protector (best description) that was hanging. So i could drive it, so far made it a trip to the Bronx and back with no problems. I'm not sure how to check for the frame or sagging door, I'ma look at that tomorrow when I go pick up the police report.

If you want the used parts later, buy them, swap them and sell the new parts. Read your repair estimate carefully to make sure there are no aftermarket parts. I got stuck with an aftermarket A/C condenser, and it's not like the original Toyota part at all!!!

Im making sure I take it to my own shop, they did a immaculate job on my Ford Explorer when it was rear ended, I trust them with the 'Lara. Speaking of that accident, its the reason I bought a Solara, the rental car was the same exact year/trim Solara I drive today.

Maybe when I rent a car this time, it'll be as impressive as the Solara.

Assuming it's the same as the Gen 2, you have two flow paths for incoming air. <3kRpm goes straight in. >3kRPM a second path opens up. That path dips down and passes by (not through) that resevoir. If hauling ass and the engine's sucking major air, they want to avoid sucking in water/road gunk/etc. With that tank gone it'll just drop back to the street. You might suck some air from down low so call it a poor man's CAI.

Thanks for the info, I drove it on the highway yesterday and it felt alot smoother during acceleration, might of been the extra air.

Will rain cause any damage if the reservoir is not in place?
