as for time slips, we'll have to see. if all goes well, I'm going to hit up a 1/8 strip down in NC in a couple weeks. I'd prefer the 1/4 mile, but at least the 1/8 will give me practice and a general idea
but I'm not sure how good my times would be compared to what my car should do, since I haven't really had the chance to practice launching it yet. I did the 5-speed swap late summer, and only really had a chance to drive the car for about a month before I had to leave it behind for school. Now, I'm driving in the cold, so launches suck ass. But once I get some, I'll post them for sure!
If u want, we can go run @ english town and see what both our cars get.
yeah...we'll be doing that soon enough...but the car just came up with some problems as you know....I'm taking the blower apart tomorrow and hoping that it's nothing too bad- hopefully just a coupler and a bearing or something. Otherwise, I'll need a rebuild. Or maybe steal my sister's supercharger lol.
And now, the ecu finally rejected the rather aggressive tune and started leaning EVERYTHING out to the point where I can't even drive the car. I had to revert to my File2 on my SAFC which is 0% all around. I'm slowly street tuning the car now to get it back up to spec. It still pulls like mad though, so I think that the ecu is doing pretty good in itself, and my fpr is doing the work with the rising boost pressure. I tried pulling the battery, et etc, but it's not doing a thing. I think that the ecu just can't see the 30+% corrections and still be happy. The 94 ecu is a bitch to work with.
But we'll go hit up english town for sure as soon as I get all this crap worked out.
HaHa
