Yea... tire stretch is not bad as long as its done right.

im running a 215/45 on a 8.5" all around...

I the past I have ran 235 with 8.5" and the look is just to plain.

As you said guys stretch tires = cool looking and also its a sacrafice if you go more and more stretch but you need some stretch if you are rubbing.

For me i have a slight rubbing when i have people in the car with the 225/35 in the rear

yeah i saw the pics in the other thread it looks good..

if u do go lower, your going to run into problems with the rear tires rubbing or even hitting the rim edge... i think your going to need a spacer in the rear and some neg camber to avoid that..
im really close with my camry right now ill take a picture today... but you can stretch your tire in the rear and wont rub except on big bumps.. but yeah welcome to ultra wide wheels on a fwd platform!!!
