Because I'm going to ditch the charger soon, and I dont want to run any higher for fear of overheating the charger.
I got the meth injection kit as an extra precaution against that.

But more importantly, there were a few more supporting modifications Id want to get before I make the leap into turbo territory.
Id like to run a standalone engine management and convert the car to run on a MAP rather than a MAF
Also I would need to get the headwork done ( this engine Im putting in has stock heads ) and perhaps look into sleeving the block with ductile iron sleeves.

Also, I want to get Kitted and painted soon too... so that will come before Turbo as well

I will continue to run this setup for about 6-7 months.. and then the real work begins. In that time I should be able to add standalone engine management as well as get kitted and painted.

Wow tracy, that is awesome! Good luck with the setup, Im interested to see how the supra TT maf works with the hybrid engine. Sweet stuff.

everyones thinks this engine is a hybrid.

this is not a hybrid
its a 3.0 its just been bored to 3.1

hmmm perhaps down the line i may invest in a 3.3 but... i think this block appears strong enough for what ive got in mind.
