Jeff,
Fun to follow this thread. Kudos on your working on your photography, and taking the time to set the shots up, so I don't want to be "picky" and critical... you are doing a nice job, and the car looks great...
IF I were to suggest ONE aspect of your photography from a "technical" standpoint, the EXPOSURE is where you could use some "tweaking". Some thoughts might be:
-Shoot in more "overcast" or "diffused" lighting conditions
Some of the lighting is too "harsh" and you lose the details that are important, girl's faces, etc... and the richness of color is "dulled"...
-Use "light reflectors"
Even someone holding a 2x4 sheet of white construction board or something can "reflect" more light into the face of foreground of your subject, giving it more life
-Balance FILL FLASH
Especially when BACKLIGHTING is pretty strong, or WASH-OUT bright, this can help balance that out, and better illuminate your subject.
Nice professionalism with your delivery, and even better commitment to the effort. As touched on by PHREAK, even PROFESSIONALS will shoot HUNDREDS of images for a COUPLE "ZINGERS" sometimes.
Nice work...
-crisp
