I'm running the 7 lb pulley to compensate for atmospheric differential. My car lives between 5300-11000' here in Denver and the mountains. The 7 lb pulley gives me just about 6 lbs of boost. I have a 6 lb pulley in my basement that I'll install when and if I ever go back down to sea level.

Of course, I'll have to re-dynotune the S-AFC when I do that. R.

I got the foglamps (and the upgraded wiring harness) from Jen Liu at www.suvlights.com .

The 3M bra is fantastic! It's **very** effective, and is completely transparent-- you basically can't see it from more than about two feet. I'd recommend it in a heartbeat, especially compared to those black vinyal thingies. R.

5W-30 is reccommended because it works across a broad temp. range
im pretty sure 10 is better if youre not gonna see a cold winter

For colder climates, it's best to use 5w30 since it's a thinner oil when it's cold. Crucial for cold startups in the winter. Our climate in the west coast doesn't get that bad...at least for California. 10w30 is perfect for our climate. It never gets too cold for long periods of time for us to use 5w30. 5w30 would be a little too thin unless you live in high elevations that sees snow in the colder months.

Yup, you're right! I made up EVERYTHING on the list-- and for the past three years, I've been posting on CMPL, SC3, and (very occasionally) here, with questions, answers, and advice for those who've chosen to modify and/or upgrade their Solara. Good thing you caught me-- It must take an absolutely STAGGERING amount of ennui for someone to be so jaded that they can't be bothered to say something nice about someone else's accomplishments. Pretty clever-- you've obviously caught me in my attempt to forge a "real" modification list-- as opposed to the standard 15-year old's "I'm going to twin-turbo *and* supercharge my '89 Escort as soon as I get that job at Kwickie-Mart" wishlist.

Although you're certainly entitled to your opinion, I find your attitude and lack of consideration for the efforts of others to be, quite frankly, immature and condenscending. If you don't wish to believe, feel free. If you don't wish to contribute positively, please don't. I, however, have been an active member of the Camry/Solara community ever since receiving my vehicle in Feb. 99. Please feel free to post on CMPL or SC3 and ask others to vouch for my technical skills, abilities, and accomplishments. If you'd prefer pictures (although I only have two-- a side shot and a shot of the engine bay), I'd be happy to forward them to you as soon as I return from performing my military duties in California. Simply send an email address with your request to flybigjet@earthlink.net.

In closing, please take this advice in the manner it's tendered: If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything.

And in the spirit of said advice, I'll *not* mention your obvious lack of comprehension of even the most fundamental sentence and vocabulary skills as evidenced by your oh-so scintillating post.
