HIDs Finally Installed!

Postby PXLpainter » Tue Apr 11, 2006 9:18 am

Finally got the HIDs installed, along with Sylvania Silverstars in both the DRL/High Beams and Fogs:

I've run Silverstars before but they still look a bit "warm" compared to the HIDs now.

5300K is what I'm told... (Mc Cullochs) but I wish there was a way to actually measure them tho'

In person, they don't seem that "purple" - just really white on the road and reflect everything extremely well.

Thanks -

The DRLs/High Beams are whiter than stock since I put in Silverstars, but not as blue/purple as the HIDs... similar to the Fogs in the pic. I think I may have taken a photo of them as well - lemme look.

:o :o nice...

can u take a picture of the beam from a distance??
cuz I'm amazed at how perfect the beam pattern is...
usually a HID kit put into a halogen projector results in a really messed up beam pattern...

but wow!!

here's an example...

Image

but nice XENONS!!

God bless
