You're right, about the camera, but I think it also has a lot to do with his picture taking skills. Looks like someone who REALLY knows how to take pictures...wondering if photography is his biz??

Very nice looking car...I like the rims and tires. Lookin' good without being too flashy.

now go in and paint the hubs of the rotors to match the calipers, along with cleaning the rusty shims on your pads. good work on a clean ride!

You could be right, but I think it's a manual focus SLR camera (high end) with a damn good photographer behind it.

I could be wrong, but I don't think so.

EDIT: although, he didn't take the same care with the before pics...so...who knows! :D

Damn that's nice... I can't even trick out my own damn car (well, except the stuff that I need)! But then again, my dad's not heavily into the tuner culture; he only has a cheap intake kit and chrome door handle scuffs on his PT Cruiser, and is so "tuner" that he only washes it once a month (then again if he's in Oregon why bother washing?).

Photoshop works wonders. I adjusted levels and lens blurred the background. Simple stuff, just takes good lighting to start with and patience on the computer.
I plan to paint the rotor hubs, looks gross I know.
My Dad used to have an '84 RX-7 and he sold it for the Solara. I hated him for it so I tryed to give the Yota some edge, a little nostalgia.
Some more stuff.

Looks great. Even though I'm a performance guy, wheels and springs will propably be the first thing I do once I get a Solara. It does a total 360 to the cars appearence and it's needed. With as big as the wheel well is on a Solara the 16" wheels and all that gap just choke the sporty appearence right out of the car, not to mention how ghey the stock 6 spoke alloys look.
Ex DSMer currently on the 12 step.
