Finally painted my grill too

Finally painted my grill too

Postby nguyenSTX » Sun Aug 26, 2007 3:30 pm

After a year of telling myself to fix the peeling paint on my grill, I finally did it. It was suppose to be painted all chrome colored but when I sprayed on the clear coat it turn it more grey then chrome. So I taped it back up and painted the trim chrome again and left it 2 toned. What do you think?

Looks good... Glad your car is silver though. I tried doing chrome spray painting and it looked a bit wierd since I probably messed up somewhere and it was a flat silver for at least half a year.

I figure it's not going to stay shiny very long without a clear coat. I'm expecting to do a lot of touch ups.

I think it looks pretty good. Depending on how much you drive, you probably won't have to touch it up that much.

My dad is in Portland... I was going to move up there too, but I have too much on my hands to actually do so.
