My last solara video.... I hope

Got back into video project biz. Was digging through some old tape of back in the day and came across so much memories that I figure I would share with you guys. Some stuff are old while other stuff have never been uploaded before. I still have like 2 hours worth of tapes to go through but after the first 2 hours with the other tape came up with these only.... I am still missing about 4 hours of footage of the solaria days.

Also, yes I know there are some illegal racing in here. Get over it because I do not need to hear your lecture.

EVERYTHING in this link is with my car at 3 PSI ONLY with limp mode check light. The car was sitting at 177whp only in most case.

Video 1-- This is the main one I wanted to post up. This is maybe the last video of the solara I will ever make of my car. Some old stuff and some new stuff. Hope it motivates people to never give up on the solara. I uhh hope its the last one I have to post up.

I dynoed 260whp with 5.5 psi and a bad slipping clutch. I know with a new clutch I would of push it to 290 to 300whp.... 290 at least with 5.5 psi. I fixed it to make it more easier to understand.

Ok Ok i believe the other ride was akfahad.. he got his at 6 psi...not much of a .5 psi difference (around 5whp gain)

so guess im wrong but still close for not being 9psi.

and u had stock headers on that thing...

so all that adding up assured me that theres no way ud make 290 at the wheels with 5.5 + stock headers.

dawgs, Dats had his ypipe and parts of his headers redone. even you of all people should understand by now that our exhaust from the headers out is a restriction. You even IM'd be as i convinced you my car made more HP than yours because of no pre-cats. you swapped to what I had stock and made power.

EricSol's solara cannot be questioned as he even had his s/c and lower intake manifold, exhaust ports port-matched and other extensive OEM blue printing done. He is the creator of the JPP headers we all now talk about so who knows... maybe he saved the best for himself. I may have saved his old dyno charts somewhere. Looks like the old links are dead, but i can vouch for high hp gains with low boost.

youve got to remember too that every dyno reads differently vik... every number someone has ever posted isnt a sure indication of what a car can and cant run, it all comes down to thr individual's car, setup, and dyno, not to mention the weather the day of the dyno, etc.
