Just wanted to thank everyone that helped me with some advice and got me through my stock caliper rebuild, I had them powdercoated Metallic Candy Red and had to use 5mm H&R TRAK+ spacers to make up the fact that the rims only came in 45 offset.

Customs by Mike did the work. ThePowdercoater.com Got his info from the Corvette Forum.

Also thanx to Henry for helping me bleed the brakes.

Thought you might like to see some pics of the finished product. Got some pics of the new Renova Grill too.

looks good!

how much did the powder coating cost? I've considered it since it's so much more durable...but I don't think I can afford it :p

Very nice. Powdercoating is definitely the way to go. The paint I used on my honda only lasted a couple of years.

My uncle had the whole frame of his chevelle powdercoated for $200, so it can be fairly cheap depending on where you go.

wow calipers look nice, it goes well with the lilttle red accents on the wheel.

Looks like spacers will make the wheels fit a bit better.

I already have 5mm spacers on them, didn;t want to go to far beyond what I originally had.

The cost for the powder coating was $260. That includes shipping them to GA and back. He takes them appart, does the powdercoating, many colors to choose from and rebuilds the piston for you. Quick turnaround too.

great price for the powdercoating- especially since it included the rebuild of all the calipers as well!
