So I came down with my friends at porta-tree (http://www.portatree.com/). My friend and her dad are both racing in i think superstock. So it's my first one of these events and i'm taking tons of pictures. I went all over and even some VIP areas. I got in to see Cruz Petragon and his solara. Here are the pics and you'll find me in a yellow portatree shirt. This is just friday qualifing. I'm off to the VIP tower suit and will take lots more pics.

So here are a few more pics from the VIP booths in the tower. It's really nice in there and the view is great. The cars come right up between your legs, but the screen on the window made it very hard to take pics. Tomorrow i'm told that i'll be getting in the pits of John Force and the rest of his racing team so that should be cool and it's the 2nd day of qualifying (look for me on ESPN2). In other news my friend won her eliminator, so shes on to round two today (black firebird that says portatree on it) her dad (yellow nova that says portatree) got bumped till tomorrow. The lights here kept flashing "666" across it so i took it as a sign.

No problem, but it ain't over yet. There is still a whole nother round of top fule qualifiying today (and all the lower classes like the ones my friends are in compeate today). So I'm thinking i might camp out in the VIP booth all day cause yesterday it was 80 out with a track temp of 109.

So today was good up until it started to rain. Unfortunatly it cut out most of the day and i didn't get to do anything. It also changed my schedule so now i have to leave here around 7AM tomorrow and don't get to stay to see the big guys race. But ohh well, it was fun anyways. Here are the rest of my pics.

Yeah so the rain really just kinda screwed things over. because the Pros need to race, the rest of the people get bumped to monday or something, so the travel schedule changed and I didn't get to stay today. But it was fun, i went over and hung with the Al-Anabi. OMG they are crazy people. It's just rich kids with tons and tons of oil money. They had body guards in 3 armor plated black excalades and the shiek's son was there in his stretch bently. Anyways i hope you folks enjoy the pics and if you ever get a chance to go to one of these things, you should.
