Hey SGers,

I've been part of the SG fam for less than a year, even though it feels a lot longer. I've had this car for less than a year as well. Up until now, I've never posted on here any pictures of my Solara because there was really nothing to show for it.

Before joining SG, I knew almost nothing about cars. I knew how to admire them, but that was about it. Through this forum I've learned a ton, and I know I still have a ton to learn (right now I'm reading Phreak's "How to take good pictures" thread :)

With that being said, this past weekend I added a few minor additions to my car so I figure I'd take the opportunity to show you guys what I got so far. Without further ado, I humbly present.. David's Solara.

Off the lot:

I'm a "no eating, no drinking, no picking your nose in my car" dictator. I've even kept the wrap on the carpet still.

AND just this past weekend:

TRD Springs, TRD RSB, 10" JBL subs

so the ride went from:

the RSB is amazing! makes driving fun all over again. My struts have about 30-50k more miles on them so I'mma just hang onto them for now... but damn i never realized how bumpy these roads were!

Thanks you guys for all the help and advice you've given me. I loved this car the first time I laid eyes on it... but now i HELLA LOVE it!

Feel free to leave any advice, suggestions, comments. 8)

Now from an older personal perspective. I really agree with about what not to do while in the car. In my view, what the interior looks like speaks volumes about the person and the car. If you see a bad interior you will most likely see a bad engine compartment and trunk. Having pride in ones car is having pride in yourself.

The only thing I would suggest for the interior is look at americanstitches.com for a wood and leather steering wheel. It makes all the difference in the world in the looks and the feel. It not the cheapest mod for our cars but its makes it so much more fun to drive. I have had mine for about 3 years now and I still smile when I get into the car to drive.

Keep up the good work and keep your standards high.
