I took lara out when the flakes started falling the first night, around two inches on the ground. Brought her up to a local empty parking lot and had a damn good time. Even with high-performance all weather tires (Yokohama Avid H4S) on there she held her own damn well! I pushed her to the point where I was plowing through 7 inches of standing stuff before she got stuck.

It would be fitting to put in a resident evil in-game soundtrack in the video because when you put the camera like that, it is kinda like the intro to a spooky movie but then you see the Solara.

Ok, yeah. That looks like fun, but it is now currently 60 degrees here in Denton Texas.

Here in Quebec we get snow for 5 months, so we are very handy with the E-brake hehe, I screwed my e-brake on my last car (solara), now Im more carefull with my mazda6 ..but I did it few times already hehe I wish my car was a rwd just for the fun I get to do this. FOr now I can only drift with the e150 at work

in my daily driving ,today we had snow not alot but enough to get loose ,

i have blizzaks that are on there 5th season, they still work rather well but i need a new set, anyway it got loose today ,doing about 40 mph and before i knew it i was in a 4 wheel drift and headed for the curb,but those blizzaks held just in the nick of time and ibrought it around and got it straight with no mishap and missed the curb by a foot,

snow driving is cool because it teaches you how your car does in a drift,and tests your skills as a driver.

it reminded me of the time my challenger got loose on the track only difference was it was on dry pavement and doing a buck...........

My car got upset at me... the traction control kept fighting to the point it shut off on its own... It reset itself once I turned the car off, and it was back on, as normal...

I'm guessing the ABS sensors probably got some snow build up and took that feature offline, but the ABS was still working.

From now on, unless I see ice, I will turn the traction control off... it's kinda annoying anyway, LOL
