Seafoamed my '99 sle for the first time. Any opinions on the exhaust sound? I really didn't want it to sound rice, so I'll wait and see what you guys think before I say how much I spent on it...

im not really sure what seafoam is but at first it sounded rice but when driving off it sounded decent... it all depends on the price and what you think...

either money well spend and your happy or your not and its money wasted by trial and error.

Yea, it sounds like a crappy diesel at startup but that's because of the seafoam. It breaks down the carbon buildup in your engine and burns it off, hence the smoke.

Speaking of blue moon that color is rare... BTW that was the color my TRD kit and renova grill came in when I bought it.

extremely rare, but one of my fav colors. Minig646, exhaust doesn't sound bad at all. Its hard to make a DOHC V6 sound bad...now pushrod V6's....those sound like ass

where did you put the seafoam? my understanding is that there is different ways to apply (such as in the fuel, in the oil, or directly into a vac line)

I put it in the vac line, and just a little in the tank as well to clean the injectors.

For best results, put 50% on the brake booster hose, and 30% in the engine and 20% in the gas tank.

Is the gas milage noticably better after seafoam?

I can't get an accurate economy rating until I recover from lead foot syndrome. I'm sure it would help at least a little.

Glad to hear y'all think it sounds good. Its only a $90 flowmaster 40-series muffler, so if anyone is on a budget, that's what it'll sound like...
