My New Ride

Postby bigbirdSCed » Sun Feb 20, 2011 4:43 pm

ok well new to me. sup guys, some of yall may already know but here is my new car i just picked up last night from carmax. i have gone over the the dark side and bought an 04 accord coupe V6 6 speed. 82,000 miles and nearly spotless, cant even find any door dings. this is the first manual car i have ever owned and i practiced all night . im not as bad as i thought. first gear is the ONLY tough spot. i figured out the uptake on the clutch now i just need practice to make it smooth.

i cant wait to start modding this one, but ill have to keep its goal in mind; fun, reliable DD with good mileage. oddly, i had planned on getting an RSX-S but this poped up at a local carmax, i did some research and found it would fit me better. the funny thing is that while faster with more power, the mileage is about teh same as the RSX-s (on paper) one mpg less but this uses regular, and the S uses premium. any ways, enough chatter, PICS...

my first mods will be to add foglights, intake (the sound of this thing with is amazing, mayby not as good as a SRI on a 1mz though:thumbsup:) and remove the badges. plans are to tint, dump the current monster truck ride height, add TL-s swaybars (interchangability is great with this), an OEM lip kit, and put some nice silver meshie 18 wheels on her. i may not go much further then that with it. it is plenty fast as is and id rather save my high power money for a project car.
