$800 for the alarm/smartstart itself but I ended up paying $1300. I had my installer add a digital tilt senser, glass senser, backup battery siren, and had them mount the alarm brain behind the speedo cluster.

You also have to pay extra for the gps service. The smartstart gps service plan that I have runs $89 yearly. Viper offers cheaper plans but you get less features.

All that I could of have bought a SC but i guess it's whatever you like, But i wouldn't mind having both LOL

I wanted a SC at one point, then I realised I dont know jack about engines. There seems to be alot involved with installing a SC and all I know how to do is change oil, spark plugs and brakes haha
