Body color matched wheels. This was my inspiration: http://www.examiner.com/slideshow/body- ... es#slide=2

This is how I did it: http://www.awrswheelrepair.com/custompa ... dium=email

8) such a stud, jim!

nice upgrade on the wheels too. not too 'in-your-face' but very unique at the same time.

^ X2, very subtle but works out great with the more luxurious feel of the 2nd gen Solara in beige!

Thanks, Yadda and Wagonsrule. I am enjoying the new look, but, as you said, it is both subtle and unique, so I have to get used to it myself. I haven't even washed my car since it was done last Friday, so maybe tomorrow I will see it in a whole new light. Of course, I will do a hand washing since the auto car wash is off limits for 30 days, but I used those sparingly anyway. In fact, it was the auto car washes that scratched up by wheels to start with, and the guy who fixed them said that they had been painted before. They had become stained and were full of hairline scratches along with a little curb rash that I did which I tried to repair myself. Now they look brand new. It's nice to see what Desert Sand Mica looks like brand new also. Maybe I will have the whole car painted new this summer.
