1999 Solara SE V6 stick with all the options... Currently at 80K km and still running strong. Blown transmission at 58K km, replaced under warranty.

How you blow the tranny at 58K? You must be an agressive shifter! :vamp:

Heheh, nope... Dealership said it was just a bad part or something. One day it decided it didn't like 2nd gear; put it in 2nd and release the clutch... CRUNCH/BLAMMO it would pop back into neutral with an awful sound. Seemed to want to do the same thing in 1st, it would push back hard on the shifter about 1" before engaging.

So I just drove it around without 2nd gear for 2 days before service appointment with dealer. No questions/hassle getting it fixed under warranty (they replaced everything from the flywheel back.)
