Under dash neon lighting

I was about to stick might neon lights in my car, and was lookin' around this forums for DIY for wiring them, "bassthrive" says to use the driver door sensor for both neons, and "pythonjosh" says to use driver door sensor, and to use the one on the passenger door sensor for the passenger side. should i use the driver side sensor for all neon lighting, or should i use both sensor; the driver for the left side of the car, and the passenger sensor for the right side of my neons. I'm lighting front and back, one under each side of the dash, and one under each front seat.

I'd guess that's a matter of opinion... but I think it would look just plain dorky to have some of the lights come on and not all of them. I'd wire it to the driver's door instead of both.

Back in HIGH SCHOOL...I had blue neons mounted under the dash...hooked up to the lights in my door so they would go on when the door lights went on.

Oh, yeah. Forgot to mention that you'll catch seven levels of crap from everyone in the forums if you even mention the word "neon". Doesn't matter if it's inside or out, or what forum you put it in.

Click my WWW, my neons are tastefully done and stealth. All I wanted was some ambient lighting hidden under the dash and two 6 inch neon tubes were absoultely perfect for my needs. Neons have their practical uses. Though I am not a fan of undercarriage tubes or too much use of in-your-face neon on the dash.

I used both door sensors so that the neons would turn on when either door is open. The only problem is that when the passenger door is open, it also makes the car think that the driver side is open too. Which really doesn't matter as it doesn't conflict with any other features. But if you choose to use my DIY, it's very thorough and if you have any questions, I have been doing a lot of wiring under the steering wheel, and know it like the back of my hand. Good luck,
