Fuel Filter Location

Does anyone know what is the location of the fuel filter in '99 Solara V6?

i believe its under the intake box....

yeah, i seen it under da intake air box, mounted on the body frame, driver side, and i was told to use a flare wrench as well.

yeah... its a hard nut to get off... I used a flare nut on the actual metal nut, then a regular open ended wrench and held the fuel filter w\ that... there is a plastic nut on the fuel filter that won't move, but gives a good grip... then took a screw driver and pryed the two apart.. worked really well.. Jim@foreign affairs taught me that trick

yea, i basically did the same. i used two flare nut wrenchs to get a good grip, and then used a monkey wrench to squeeze both of the wrenches together...worked really well,,i bearly used any muscle..

Yup... The installation is kind of ruff mostly due to the location of that darn :2gunfire:

nut (a blind operation). All I can say is Jims Fuel System Upgrade Kit rocks. I'd recommend this to anyone with the forced induction.
