In cali by having any of those lights under would get you a ticket... but I heard with red or blue, its a worse penalty since the pigz would say its an impersonation of a cop?

this true?

In FL only the Blue and Red are prohibited. I was paranoid at first but I have driven, even sped by almost a dozen cops so far. So I'm good to go.

Yeah I drive in CA and NY primarily, now in NY with my CA plates... so I technically have to obey the laws of both states if they choose to get uppidy on me.

in CA and NY at this point pretty much --everything-- is illegal.

Those 4 LEDS behind the emblem would be considered excess (more than 4) lights projecting from the front of your vehicle.

All Neon underbody kits are considered illegal to use in both states, as well as I think Illegal just to have (as neon is a fragile, combustable object)

Hell I can't even get 50% tinted windows.

... everyone do check with your insurance companies too, because many have the right and will raise your insurance if you ever plead guilty/pay for Equipment violations, not all states base their insurance entirely on the points assessed to your license.

Dear lord i've been screwed before by insurance companies and local enforcement.

In any event it does look pretty neat, and you managed a really clean install.

In louisiana there is a law against them on the street but it's fair game in any parking lot I pretty sure so once I get them I may just hang out in the police department parking lot and see what they do. 8)
