Well the family and I will not be at the NOPI event this weekend. Kat and I were able to bring our daughter home from the hospitl last night but, she is far from a full recovery and will require a lot of rest and attention.

Everyone have a great time and I look forward to the pics.

BTW guys, Im glad this isn't a "true" carmeet, since my car still gota huge dent in it, Body kits still in storage, and my grills paint is chipping off, and it hasnt been washed or waxed for a few months.

Cars gunna be one ugly stepchild, but I'm there for the event and people.

BTW, I'm driving down Friday night and ll be staying in Silver Springs, MD the night before. Is there gunna be a premeet that morning?

Not that I know of. The guys who are running their cars will be meeting at Arrieta Motorsport at 6:00am and leave for MIR at 6:30. Call Thai aka Fenix to see what may be going on.

We would be on Springfield area, the opposite of Silver Springs though, but we can meet up sometwhere in Wardord, MD. Let me confirm this with the guys, and we will let you know in detail tormorrow or Friday.

The MIR event is so near, the weather is so fine, the girls are so.... I have to get back to you on this. LOL. Anyway, this meet is like a first in 2005 for us, East Coast Solaraguy. I can't wait to see you all again with your solara. The thought of seeing Rizal in his monster Sol racing on the track and JoeB with his Red Knight with 100shot of nitrous, wow, we're gonna representing the Solara on the MIR. Greg, we'll dearly miss you and your car. Hopefully, we could have another meet down the road with all there of you, JoeB and Rizal.

As you all know, the event would probably last through the day and Carlos, the master mechanic will bring the grill. So for lunch, I’m thinking of bring some hamburger, hot dog, some fried chicken and salad.
Anyone who come this Sat, please feel free to bring anything that you could, being ice, water, soda, beer (did I just say beer....). Please post what you can bring and we'll break it down by tomorrow's afternoon of what we need for Sat.

For all who come from Virginia and don't have to show up early for racing, should we have a pre-meet around 10 am and come to MIR together?

10 hamburgers
22 pieces of Popeye’s fried chicken (buy 11 get 11 free, lol)

We need some ketchup, mustard, hotdog and hamburger bun and some salad, just make it simple lunch.

I forgot to ask, but is the other Solara Trio gunna be there? (Bullish racing and Lucas Oil)?

REMEMBER THE GRILL UTENSILS THIS TIME!!!

Ill bring something, but it wont be cold and cant be perishable, since im overnighting in MD. Chips maybe?

Just checked the weather. We got a 40% chance of rain, and its droppin down to 30-50 at MIR on Saturday...

This could suck.

George and Ara split up last year. I haven't heard what George is doing yet but I heard Ara is putting a Tc shell on his car and has a new sponsor (forget who). Paul Efantis with the MotorSports Performance - Lucas Oil sponsored blue Solara will be there just coming off a 1rst place last weekend!

Ok, anybody can be a weather man since they are ALWAYS wrong! Temporarily, I'm a weather man now.

. I say no rain, high of 61 on Saturday and Sunday will be SO NICE!!! If I'm wrong, I'll quit my weather man job. :wink:

Yea i did notice that George wasnt on the Bullish team page anymore. I didnt know he split off though. So is the other Bullish Solara retired for now?
