I sent Brian Cattman an email about the CAI and this is what he said.

Hey Felipe, we're working on our second approach to this part and expect to have more news soon. I've added your name to our notification list and I will let you know as new developments occur.

Im n/a. You already know that the s/c one ran into problems..but I was told by the people at the dyno facility and by the company making the CAI that he was already running lean prior to the CAI, since he totally "tricked out his Solara with everything he could put." But I'll keep you guys posted tonight..and pics will come tonight as well :)

I guess we're all waiting on the CAI. Let us all know when they're here and let us know the web site to order it.

I think they will be around $225, according to one of Brian Catts' posts on teamsc3.

I wouldn't hold my breath on this. I think Brian is trying to make sure that he has a good product before he puts it on the market, so they're going through a lot of testing and R&D. Unfortunately for us, I don't think this is Brian's main line of work, as he is working in New Zealand on an unrelated project, according to his messages on teamsc3. He's been saying for months now that he would have both a CAI and a Y pipe ready for production soon, but every time someone checks with him, he says they're still in development. I'm sure it will be worth the wait, as he has developed some good stuff for the Maxima platform. Camry/Solara is still somewhat new for him. That, and the fact that he seems to have other lines of work, is resulting in slow progress; not to mention frustration for us.

Sorry, this one was from me. I thought I had been automatically logged in, but I guess it didn't happen.

I thought there was already a Cattman Y pipe for the Solara.

They have made them in past, but I think they became dissatisfied with their fabricator and have gone to someone new. Also, I don't think the earlier versions were made with mass production in mind; they were more custom jobs. I believe the new pipes will be emissions legal, even in California. I don't think this was the case with the earlier pipes.

I just rechecked Brian Catts' message, and he anticipates the price for the CAI will be around $200.
