OK I think I have decided I am going to lower my car. I've done alot of searching and this is what I have come up with for prices shipped (off ebay):

Tokico - $340
KYB - $300
Eibach - $234
TEIN - $ $170 (seems really cheap!)

I'm thinking TEIN's and KYB's. Any reason I should spend the extra $40 and get Tokico's? Anyone have TEIN/KYB combo?

Also, I have a strut mount, passenger side front, that is making noise. Best price I have found is $49 from Toyota. Any reason I should replace them all or just the bad one? I'm thinking just the bad one since they are so expensive.

And what is a fair/reasonable price for install? Belle Tire quoted me $120 install but that was if I bought Eibach's and KYB's from them (they won't install parts I provide). Gonna call around tomorrow for prices from small local shops, just don't want to get raped! Thought $120 sounded very fair.

Thanks guys!

this has been discussed ad nosium...

i've had no problem with kyb...

however since most everyone gets tokico and no one seems to have problems perhaps peace of mind is worth the extra $$...

almost everyone has tein/tokico combo and are happy with the results...

most installs range from 150-300...

170 is too much for teins. there is a seller here on the fourms, RJ@UPFD <- you should contact him.. he has a Gb for them. around 150 shipped.

here is the link for the teins

i have teins/tokico. which runs great. like what he said.. majority are tein/tokico or eibach/tokico

Thanks for the replies! I will go ahead and get the tein/tokico combo since the prices are better than I expected. :)

It's all coming together. Ordered the Tein's from RJ for $160 shipped (the group buy is dead) and the Tokico's from Matt @ motorsports direct for $340 shipped. Also found a local garage to do the install for $120 including tax and $19.99 for wheel alignment. 8)
