to gets new brake pads or not

Aight so I just got my new set of Brembo rotors and brake lines but I'm not sure whether I need to get new pads or not. I've been told I should, I've been told it shouldn't matter. As of now I got ceramic kind, and they are about 6 months old so they dont need replacement, but i dont want to mess up the new rotors either. Your thoughts? thank you guys in advance.

I dunno I'm gonna get oem pads agian 80k miles on original pads

I'd definitely go with new pads on the new rotors. It is better to have new pads contact the virgin rotor surface.

For one, it provides more even wear and better contact surface between pad and rotor. Also doing so you will properly seat the pads and heat treat the rotor ( to help keep it from warping at a premature state). :-?

Premature wear on rotor surfcae (wavy surface) is from uneven pads that have rocks, tar and dirt embeded into the pad over time. So, it is beneficial to have new pads and rotors... Good luck Bro.

In general, always get new pads with new rotors. Used pads will be eaten up pretty quickly by new rotors, since they have grinded themselves to match the irregularities in the original rotors.

SpeedSTARs & Jon, I think you guys make excellent points. Damn... now i gotta buy some pads .... gotta start playing the lottery again, this stuff is getting expensive!!!! :evil:
