what would it cost for a body shop to fix a few dings on the rear quarter panel?

have any of you shaved your door handles? what would that cost?

I had a pretty bad ding on my rear quater panel, and it costed about 500 bucks to get it taken out. Taking the ding out isnt the expensive part, the expesive part is having to repaint and blend the rear quarter panel with the rest of the car.

Yeah, I'm looking at a similar situation- one biggish dent on that panel, mostly a lot of scratches. Let's say I couldn't afford to have it fixed AND painted, which I can't. If I get a paintless dent repair, is it possible for me to touch it up myself? I don't need to it be gorgeous or perfect, just better, not as noticeable, and preferably cheap.

usually i believe its between $50-100 per dent, but this of course depends upon the severity of the damage...

if you get your handles shaved, you will also need to add in the cost of installing a solenoid kit to pop your door open...

Yah, its possible that you can touch it up yourself, if you get the right stuff.

im not handy enough to fix them myself even though theyre very minor.

ive taked the slenoid kit into account but what would it cost after installation and paint?.

i could ask body shops in my area but i wanted to get a ball park figure and hear some of the prices youve paid/quoted so i know what im getting my wallet into. thanks guys.

depending on how much damage the ding/dent has done, the cheapest options for me in the past have been 'paintless dent removal' places. They are minivans that come to you for a minute cost.

Yeah, that sounds like the best way to go- I'm not going to do it probably until next month, when I get some decent pay from my new job, but I'll let everybody know how it goes.

THanks again!
