yeah no joke... Im wondering where he got the radiator from.. cause I would love to have my engine run cooler

I posted it up there and this was thanks to Greg for finding out about the double row radiator. . . you have a choice of Koyo and CSF. . . I just went with Koyo since they're well known from Japan

I've got the same 2 row radiator. It's not like I see a big difference, but I feel you need the fan too along with the oil cooler. Man, I really wish we could do a 4 row with upgraded fan, now that would make a difference for everyone. :drinking:

You will probably need the fan too since you're S/C and it runs a lot hotter than my car

This fan should help even more (this is the one that Rizal got).

That link takes you to an empty search page. Which part number is the fan? Does it plug right up or do the wires need to be adapted? Does it bolt right up or do you need to make custom mounting brackets? Thanks -JoeB

Yeah i got is a tRD radiator cap.
But wouldn't the 2 row Koyo radiator make a slight diff in temp from the OEM.

The radiator will make a difference mostly while the car is moving constantly. It is more efficient at cooling but requires air going accross it to cool.

The fans would be nice because I'm guessing they will flow more air than the stock fans. What is REALY needed though is a thermal fan controller. There are fixed ones that come on at different temps like 185* then turn off at 170*, variable ones and even one that has 2 settings. The thermal controller will help keep the car cooler even when in the city or in a staging lane

Oh sorry, it's probably saved in my cookies. This is the one Rizal got on his ride, he can get you more info. The fan that he used is for the '99 Mitsubishi Eclipse, part #FLX-325, FLX-325R, FLX-325B, or FLX-325Y

There's might be better pricing elsewhere, I just used this site for info. Do you think there's any difference using the Flex-a-Lite, because the pricing is cheaper and it's exactly the same?

Any recommendations on which thermal fan controller to get?

The Flex-A-Lite fan. . . Has two options with their fans it comes with a manual and automatic option. . . You can wire them up so you turn them on with a switch or you can wire them up to the A/C plug and it comes with a temp sensor that you're suppose to put into the top radiator hose and its connected to a control box
