I try to shift before 6250, I set my MSD ignition to bounce it at 6250... usually I get the shift in around 6150 or so

I've been looking for a MSD ignition but don't know what I'm looking for or how they work or anything about them for that matter. From everything I read they boost the power of your spark? What else can they do? I see you have it set with a rev limiter.... I want to get one too. Which one did you get or suggest? Are they a DIY install or should I take it to a pro?

I did mine myself, and had no issues.. but im pretty mechanically inclined... the MSD ignition you want to get is the MSD DIS-4 and you are going to need 2 tach adapters

i'd bump mine to about 7000, but thats just me.

i dont think all the components and work is worth what you get out of it though.
