Yeaeh seems alittle hard.

Wow.. that's slightly in depth. I would not have really expected someone to post that haha. Little bit more then most people would want to tackle. I have a few tools that would make that wayyy easier though. Like High reliability solder rework stations with desolder irons that have tong attachments to desoldering both sides of the led at the same time. But even still I would never bother with that. That would take a good couple hours.

Nice! I'm too lazy/broke at the moment to buy a new head unit, waiting till I'm done with college in June to start puttin money into my car. But, I do work with a bit of electronics, and this is a really nice DIY.. think I'm gonna find me some LEDs. I wonder if I can find them in blue with the right forward voltage...
