Eh.

He said the dyno was acting a little funny, but the only car I watched dyno for reference was a 3.5Altima which pulled 196, but I don't have any clue about mods or transmission type.

Yeah I'd been really dying to know. At least this way I can know exactly how much I'll have improved from stock with any mods I put on. Right now that's namely the cp-e MAFci which I ordered yesterday.

The automatic looses around 25% of the power. . . Since he has a 5 speed he lost less than what a stock auto would have

I didn't get a full 50% off the intake, I got 35% off and I think that's only because it hasn't been tested on a 5spd yet and I'm going to have before and after dynos.

As for drivetrain powerloss if you look on the dyno charts of our car on the cp-e site, which used an AT V6, they only hit 133. I lost almost 25% myself, according to their dyno charts the auto loses 1/3 or 33% :o . I believe it too, the difference between the auto and manual makes it feel like I put an exhaust, headers, cold intake and even more on my auto. Considering my auto with injen made a 16.186 ET with a 2.467 60 foot and my stock 5spd made 15.7xx (I forget and can't find the slip) with a 2.45x 60 foot, the cars definitely have a large degree of separation. I couldn't get traction cause of my tires when I ran my 5 spd which is why the 60 ft's are near identical, but the ET's are so different, not to mention I feel a nice pull bagning through gears with the 5spd, something the auto never accomplished for me.

I'm anxious to see how well the CPE intake works out, if it works as promised, and maybe even better on a 5spd, I may get like 5% power increase off an intake, I doubt it but who knows.

You had a dip at about 3750rpms. Was that the operator or your car?
I had my MT V6 dynoed recently on a Mustang Dyno that pulled 156hp on 87oct fuel. Wanna run it again on 92. But looks good man,

I dyno'ed at a show for fun and on 87 octane I pulled 156hp 162ftlbs with my CAI and EVO II on an auto. They didn't follow the recommendations on JoeB's cardomain though, which according to Joe says it should be 8% higher

how well do you think you would have done on the quarter mile if you were able to get a proper launch?

Im VERYYY disapointed by those numbers.. Was hoping it to be in the 160s or 170s stock for a 5 speed.. I also notice you letted off on the gas early? Redlines at 6200, you seemed to letted of at 5300.. Correcto?

You can't really tell by just hp/torque curves. I think I saw a site somewhere that had a forumla to figure it out using your hp/trq/weight, but it's still going to have a margin of error.

Yeah, but those formulas are pretty flawed because they don't take gear ratio or rotational mass into account. If there are any calculus or physics guys on here, please figure out this formula for our solaras.

The only reason why I asked him is because he posted earlier about getting a 15.7 with a bad 60'... so I'm wondering what he thinks he'd get with a good launch.
