Thanks,

That was the post i was looking for.

Now I'm waiting for that thing. Today I looked if it's hard to remove the radio, and it's a piece of cake.

This is real easy to install.

Crutchfield will send you step by step instructions on how to remove the radio, but its very simple. If you don't order it from crutchfield, i can send you the PDF, however I would definately order it from them.

I just put this in on my sisters solara. Real simple and effective. Great sound quality

Really? Doesn't it say that you have to remove it in order to plug in the wires?

You must be listening to records, because thats the only media i know of that has better quality than CDs.

^^^ very true....

Unless the CD's he listens to were originally recorded from mp3's. The crappyness that can be downloaded has no limits.

MP3s are compressed. When you compress anything you lose some quality. Uncompressing them and putting them on CDs doesnt gain any of the quality back.

Don't get me wrong, MP3s sound good, but sometimes you can really hear the difference...

I dont really like buying CDs, especially for the car. A few month of listening to it and it's ruined.

I have a lot of downloaded music. It's good quality for MP3, each song is 10-15 Mb. So I used to burn them to CDs for my car using cd burner in my laptop (i dont think that cd burner is anything close to what is used to burn regular CDs that you buy in the store). Then CD gets scrtached in the car after a while. So yea in my case the quality of the music is much better now.

lol, i prefer mp3s too. Before I had my ipod hooked up I bought a load of those cheap cds with no labels and just burned whatever i wanted to listen to for the time being and just tossed them when i got sick of the music...
