After market gauge faces

Hey guys, wassup?

I just got my aftermarket guage faces, I opted for the silver faced, with the option to select between blue or green numbering.

My quesiton is, for those of you who have done this...

Where do I get the 12vdc to light them guage faces up?, oh yeah, if you have a step by step on how to remove the dash.... it would be a plus.

thx.
Geeks get it done, while Nerds whimper and call for mommie.

First off... IMO, get the blue numbering, green is stock already.

Check out the post "New Dash" I can't find it right now, but it's there, it explains exactly how to take apart the dash.

"Reverse glows - For the reverse glows, you need to first loosen the black surround for the guages. This is held on two screws on the top, and then only by 4 clips, although very tough ones. Loosen the screws first. Then go for the clips. You need to apply alot of pressure the first time to get them out, but it pulls right out towards where the driver would sit. Inside are 4 screws that need to be loosened. After that, the guage cluster will be removable. Just take out the 3 wire plugs in the back."

All i did was re-wired the reverse gauges to light up blue at night, bot green or blue.
I re-wired so i don't have to have another switch.
Willin' be writin' up a tut on how to rewire them to light up blue later. :D
All i did was plug the power wire for the gauges in the ciagrette tray power wire.
Then ground it like normal, and dimmer wire used only 1 and plugged it into thte back of the gauge cluster to the RPM gauge.

Theres I think a green wire with a silver stripe on the brown connector that you can tap for the 12v to get it to light up when the guages would normally light up. Youll need to double check that, its been a long time since I've installed gauges.
