Pls help.... Will 2002 16" Solara rims fit a '98 V6 Camry (OEM 15 x 6") or is the offset significantly different? I believe both are 5 - 114.3 bolt patterns.

If so, will I need to have computer/odometer/spedometer adjusted for the added 1" height

Thanks in advance

It should fit. The computer also won't need to be adjusted because the 15" should have a little thicker tire, but even if its off by 1" its really no big deal.

It fits. As for the tire size being bigger, your speedo won't be thrown off that much beause all speedos are calibrated with a +/- 3 mph margin out of the factory.

Mixed info

Thx for the replies. A dealer said that the bolt pattern/offset changed after the 2001 model year on the camry platform. Still trying to confirm the 16 x 6 5 - 114.3 bolt pattern info. Will advise when definitive info is confirmed.

Flipside, I am getting mixed msgs on this... dealer told me that the 2001 models and later had changed specs. I think mine are 15 x 6 5 - 114.3 bolts. Not sure what the new 2002 Solara specs are.

Can you refer me to a website perhaps. Thx

The 2002 Solaras are still using the same rims.

I am pretty sure 2002 Camry is still on 5x114.3 bolt pattern.
