i just bought Bosch Platinum 4 plugs. R they any good? Prolly should have asked before purchase, but o well.

I have seen nothing but bad about using them in Toyotas, but as you just paid for them, I hope they work out for you.
Let's just pretend I didn't grow up, or you're going to be terribly disappointed.

they were horrible in my camry...poor gas mileage, poor engine performance...I removed them after 2 months.

I had boschs in my car and i also changed within 2 months. NGKs are oem on some years but denso is great too.

I believe I had read these guys reports. Also a local buddy had them in his Celica, and he yanked them after a few weeks. NGK and Denso are both good for Toyota motors.

purchased Denso Platinum's, Dual diode. .044 gap

change time first time = 1hr. 15 min.

Front bank = smooth sailing 20 min

Rear bank = cut up hands, sore muscles 55min.


Good news is the car started right away and was able to get me saftely to and from a bar. Thanks for the tutorial to those of you who wrote them!!!

The toughest one for me with the rachet/swivel socket/extension I had was the passanger side rear plug... I ended up dominating it though :)
