Ok I was lookin at the ride today..and i was thinkin it would be cool to replace the toyota logo cap thing that covers where the bolts are to remove your tire. I wanna keep the stock rim and tire, but i was wondering if any of you knew if there was any way I could replace this cap (is there a technical name for it?). Maybe buy something custom for it or have a machine shop make one? Any ideas?

You'd pobably have to have a machine shop custom make new center caps, and it'll probably cost alot of $$$$. I work with a guy who had a 1968 Roadrunner who actually drilled and tapped his spindles and bolted on the Roadrunner emblem (the cartoon character). When the car was in motion, the Roadrunners in the center remained stationary and upright. It was really bizarre to see and kinda cool. It blew alot of minds as well. You might wanna try something like that.

Doesnt look half bad the problem is youd be able to see the nuts and bolts..which wouldnt be to hot. I would LOVE to get new rims..but im tryin to stay stock as possible and i figured replacing the covers would be my original version of rims-). I could try to see if i could remove the emblem..but chroming back over it wouldnt work because its more of an alloy..not chrome so it wouldnt match.
