Wow looks like another pointless, non functional item. Ricey!

BTW, spam (prepaid legal plug) is not welcome here.

Thanks,

Yeah, I agree with that. The only reason to have a scoop, which hurts your aerodynamics and obstructs your view of the road, is if it is a functional part of the car. You may as well just cut a coil off your springs, buy a $30 fart can, and do one of the 1000 other anti-performance modifications out there. Individual style is something I support a lot (i.e. Altezzas, Racing Stickers and other stylistic non-performance modifications), but hurting your car's performance is ridiculous. Also, did we miss some sort of spam in here??

hood scoops don't really obstruct your view (unless you mean REALLY BID scoop). and i don't think they would hurt the perfomance aerodynamically....I was looking to put a scoop on my celica...was quoted for the parts and this lexus mechanic was buying parts from japan that led air to my filter box..like an coldair intake from the scoop...so they are not always performance hinders!

You missed half the sentence I said: "is if it is a functional part of the car". If a scoop functions as a cold air intake, it is a functional part of the car .
