newbie alert.

sup man!

umm ok to get you started wats your budget?

You have 2 choices

1) HID - thats exactly what lexuz and acura have. These will cost you about 250$shipped

2) Nokya bulbs - these produce an almost white light output. will run your around 30$ shipped.

y the difference you ask? cuz the output of an HID is rich clear and will light up the road like nothing you've seen before.

I have HID's. check my www for reference pics.

gluck.

i believe the newer Acuras and Lexus' come with HID's (High Intesity Discharge kits) the bulbs used in those kits are not like conventional halogen bulbs.

if you want that kind of output, you can't just get a bulb--you'd have to get an HID kit. they run about $400 for a good kit.

no other drop-in replacement bulb has the kind of output an HID kit has. they may be as bright, but won't last as long.

Welcome... Try H^LO; that's what I use, it has a 2 year warranty and the light output is comparable to a low-Kelvin HID (7200K)*.

http://www.haloautomotive.com/

*Kelvin = measurement of color temperature, ranging from red, natural white light to blue.
Here are some examples
candle = 1200K
Average halogen headlight = 3000-3200K
HID on Audi/Porsche = 4500K
HID on BMW/Benz = 5000K
Sunlight on a clear day at high noon = 5000K-5500K
