I'm not sure if I am understanding exactly what you are saying, the "dealership stock lock button" portion is what's throwing me off... but I would start by checking your fuses. My grandmother had an issue in her Chrysler LeBaron where she would lock it using the electric lock button on the arm rest and it and it would unlock immediately... It was a really whacked out problem, but it turned out to be a blown fuse...

you're not going to find a reputable alarm for under $150. unless you can find a place that installs DEI products for that cheap. (DEI/Directed Electronics = Makers of Viper)

this is what i tell customers when they're having this problem:

"Getting an aftermarket alarm will not solve whatever problems you're having with your OEM system. If your locks don't work, the alarm won't make it work for you; the aftermarket system will duplicate whatever the switch and/or the OEM system is doing."

get your locks fixed. it sounds like a ground in the negative trigger door wire or something might be wrong with the ignition wire to the OEM system. (you'll notice that your locks will re-open if your key is in the ignition)

to clear it up...when i press the lock button on the door or on the stock remote(the one i got at the dealership) it locks then imediatelly unlocks and stays unlocked so i can leave anything valuable.......

Sounds like it could also be some kind of cuputer glitch, like it's sensing you still have your key in the ignition. (that's the lock out feature)

i'd have the alarm checked if you don't want that problem to come back. your Ignition connection to the alarm is probably catching 12v somewhere, which would probably mean your alarm would need to be replaced/disconnected.
