Jeff, you need to chill out. It's just a ticket. I know it's money, and a pain in the ass, but it's not THAT big of a deal.

Just go to court and try to get the ticket reduced. Tell the judge that you'd like to plead no contest and go to school to avoid the points. Tell him that you usually don't speed (unless you have like 10 tickets on your license), and that you are sorry.

You may have to pay a slightly higher fine, plus the driving school fee, but you won't get points on your license, and your insurance won't go up.

Chill man, chill...

ALSO, my friend got a ticket for no insurance card, went to court, they made him come back WITH a signed note FROM his insurance company saying he was insured at that time, and the insurance card alone was not enough. So just for extra measures, have your insurance company send you a signed letter saying you DID IN FACT have insurance at the time of the pull-over. :)

yeah that is true, i just pointed out taht when i went to court hearing all these guys goin up to judge (myguess is their case had somethign to do with mine minus the speeding part/driving without insurance on them) .. and they just had their cards and every time the judge would just dismiss the case.. do you think itll be same with mine? or should i just get is signed like he said by my agent? .. because even if my agent did sign my card, how does the judge know if the signature is real or not?..

buddy, I've been stopped by the pigs 12 times since I've had my car. Tickets are tickets they happen. Best thing to do is to pay it get over it and make your car faster so the next time a cop tries to stop you you can feel confident that you can get away. jk jk it happens man... ya live ya learn

i havent read all the posts but

$95 for 25 over does not seem right at all.. he prolly just wrote you up for less than you were actually doing??

also if you know the price of the speeding ticket just pay it.. then all court will be concerning is the insurance card which you will present..gets cancelled but you still have to pay court costs..
