Rightish... P & P is actually increasing the flow into and out of the head, by making the ports larger and smoother. You could order custom oversized valves, I am not too sure from where but, I think some of the Celica guys have done this. You can do head work without pulling the motor, so that is a good place to start. Doing this would be good in combination with the Webcams regrinds. If you’re lucky it MIGHT net you up to 15-20 fwhp. Last time I checked a company called Flatlander Racing sells a prepared short block that is bored and stroked to 2.7L. All this together I would guess you're already around, or in excess of $3,000 in parts, assuming you do all the work yourself, you might as well do a 3S-GTE swap
