First off all my life Ive only brought brand name cat back exhaust like genuine GReddy to Tanabe etc etc... But then Just for future reference, Are ebay muffler worth looking at? They cant all be all bad now can they? All these like greddy etc etc stuff sounds better interesting. This is just future reference for a project Im doing but I was wondering what are your guys take on this? I see lots of Civaks with fart cans.. What are these? Is the one up there a good one or another one of those Dont trust ebay.. I notice some car shop sells them too so Im confused... What am I suppose to look for in these mufflers? And do you think the power results and quality will be as good as buying separate Greddy muffler etc etc?

Heres the link to that picture up top.

i'd just be scared to have my car sounding like a giant fartbag if i put one of those mufflers on.

however, they ARE only 10 bucks or so, so give 'em a shot and hit us back with some feedback!

A lot of the Supra guys use the HKS Ti Mufflers, HKS High Power, or A'pexi N1. Those are some of the good universal mufflers that I have seen on Supras. They also used this muffler called the Aero Turbine.

Ebay mufflers are garbage. I only put good quality stuff on my Solara, and I never cheap out in terms of modding it.

Guess Im going to do a little more research about them. Piping will all be custom, but the muffler I shall do some more asking on other forums and at a few car shops.

cheap= poor welds, thinner walls (more fart sound because of poorer resonance inside chamber), probably no investment into the inner chamber and flow design. There is a reason this crap sells for $10...

on your list of mods, are you going to include "ebay muffler" next to "TRD...". You have a nice car, don't put junk on it to save $.
