--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have a 2002 Solara SLV6 Automatic with a Kuzuma charger. The problem I am having is when I get on it I have a smell like Burning sulfer/ rotten eggs/ burning gunpower. Is this the transmission clutch plates burning? Or the belt slipping?

Sounds like you need to change the gas you are currently using. And make sure you're running premium at all times.

BTW, please do not make duplicate posts.

Try another brand and see if the smell stops. Preferably Chevron.

all gas is the same unless a company adds their own additives, such as chevrons techron, other than them i dont know if anyone else is diff and adds their own additives. Watched a nice show about gas on the discovery channel, amazing stuff :)

that's probably why you haven't smelled it. it seems that varying the brand is better for reducing the smell. i notice it in customers of mine who use the same gas station all the time, i usually tell them to switch to something different for 2 tanks then go back. several of them have since told me the smell went away.
