anyone got the TRD short shifter?

if you do please answer these questions for me

how much better did it work over the stock?
how much did it cost? (i saw for $150)
how complicated/easy was the installation?

I LOVE my Short Shifter...I swear it is probably the bestest mod I have bought for my car (other than the S/C of course :wink: ) But ya, it's definitely worth the $$$ I don't know how I ever did without my SS :D

Yeah, i must agree. the short shifter is definitely worth the money and you do notice a difference. its a little weird a first to get used to, but like all things, you get used to it. i dont remember how much i paid for mine, i got it from the TRD website. As for installation, i had a toyota dealer do it for me, i just didnt want to fool around with it.

is it just me or are any of u grinding into second gear more often? i'm having trouble throwing it into 2nd gear when the car is cold. Also when i run my car i sometimes grind second if i don't focus. i think its jus my stupid crap driving....but i want to be sure.

Just let the car warm up. It will always shifts rough when cold.
