I've never done fiberglassing or seen it done in person but its a pain in the a$$. You're going to have to strip the whole interior out if you want it to stay clean.

I wish i knew how to work with fiberglass, I'd love a custom enclosure

ohhhhhhhhhh boyyyyyyyy! thanx by the way for the compliment...now...i am NOT doing this myself or at all ....my sponsors body shop is...and let me tell u it aint "cleanin windows"...its some difficult ass crap...it takes alot of patience and hard work...just the dash that u see in my pic took about 2 weeks...the rest of the car took about 2 months...i dont know the exact procedure, but if enough people request it i will ask the body shop guy to give me procedures...btw if i didnt have a sponsor i wouldnt dream about doing this kind of work...my sponsor told me if he wasnt paying i would be out about 5,000-6,000 just for fiberglassing the whole interior, not including the trunk...its high quality but high cost! thanx again! thats really crazy stuff ... as far as i know you build the form out of wood ( ie. for a box ) then u mold somethign aroudn it in the gerneral shape you want, lay down the fiberglass mat stuff ? its likea fabric and spread a compound on it and when it drys you sand it to where u want it and then paint it i think?!? who knows... when i figure it out im giong to attempt an a pillar with a gauge pod and see how that turns out haha

Hey everyone...Fiberglass is very hard to work with and it takes a long time. Ive never messed with that stuff but ive seen the guy from my car shop do my trunk and other cars. Depending on what ur going to build, you can start with a structure of wood or whatever, then you lay the fiberglass matt and pour resin on it with the hardener. Let it dry and apply more to make it strong. After you have your mold, you can mix up some bondo, apply it and sand it down to make it nice and smooth.
Were going to rip the vinyl off my trunk and get it painted the same color of the car instead.
