fiber images or Vis cf hood

Just wanted your peoples opinions. Now I've heard the good and the bad of both hoods. I know VIS hoods don't always fit right, but regardless, b/c I have a hook up, im still getting one. Should be here in another couple weeks

(on backorder, like we all know). But I do like the way VIS hoods have the rolled edges. Basically my questions go out the the fiberimage hood owners. I know they are really durable, but I've heard some people claiming the clear coat peels off. I've seen both hoods on civics, and i like the VIS one better. Just asking if you fiberimage hood owners have this problem.

just curious, what is the point of a carbon fiber hood?

Its mainly for looks and it may lighten the car a little bit.

what are the original panels in the car made of? it seems pretty high quality, as would be expected from a luxury car. what's the fiberglass like? is it plastic-y?
